Port Talbot-based Tabiach RFC U7’s were the official match day flag bearers at the Liberty Stadium pitch on Saturday afternoon as the Ospreys returned to winning ways with a bonus point 29-20 victory over the Dragons.

Dan Evans opened the scoring early on but Dragons hit back to lead by seven at the break, whilst a second half blitz saw Evans cross three more times to become the first Ospreys player ever to score four tries in a Celtic League match.

The players returned from half-time accompanied by our second half guard of honour, Nantyfyllon U9s and our second half flag bearers Taibach U7s, Cwmgors U9s, Waun U9s, Neath Athletic U8s and Aberavon Green Stars U7s.

Taibach Rugby Football Club is a community club with two senior, one youth and ten mini and junior teams whilst being a feeder club to the Ospreys. Taibach RFC received funding which has gone directly into the purchase of 18 full-zip training jackets for the teams under 7’s team during the challenging winter conditions.
