E.G. LEWIS GROUP SUPPORT MARGAM FOOTBALL CLUB

Port Talbot-based Margam Football Club, a grassroots football club run by volunteers has been boosted by the support of E.G. Lewis Group alongside Tata Steel.

Margam Football Club is a community club with their senior side participating in The Port Talbot & District Football League, whilst having twelve age grade teams from youth to senior level. The club has received funding courtesy of E.G. Lewis Group and Tata Steel, in which will see the installation of a state-of-the-art kitchen area built within the football changing rooms at the youth centre.

Ryan McCartney, Area Engineering Manager at Tata Steel had this to say about E.G. Lewis Group’s support of the community project:

“This is a great initiative to support the local community by helping improve facilities which can be used by all ages at Margam Football Club.

“Working in partnership with Skelton Thomas (part of E.G. Lewis Group) and having their support has meant we are able to complete the refurbishment work to install a kitchen in the changing room area which will benefit both players and supporters alike”.
