E.G. LEWIS GROUP'S CBN TREAT - FAIRWOOD VISIT

E.G. Lewis Group along with Swansea’s leading businesses gathered at Swansea City’s state-of-the-art Fairwood training facility to celebrate the third City Business Network event of the season on Thursday 21^st February.

The City Business Network which included new supporters in Vodafone, with the latest instalment giving members an insight in to how the Swans use data within the first team performance environment, coupled with how Vodafone use it within a global telecommunications business.

Swansea City's on-field progress from the lower reaches of League Two to the Premier League had been well documented, but there was a considerable journey in terms of the off-field workings - this with the inclusion of the new multi-million training complex which opened back in 2016.

Staff are greeted by a daily schedule posted on TV screens as they come through the reception area to the changing room, which is modelled to resemble the environment at the Liberty Stadium, with kit and boot rooms across a hallway. Before heading out onto the grass, players will begin their warm-up in the activation room, containing equipment that can cater for preparations for short, intense sessions, as well as for longer, more endurance-based work.
