E.G. Lewis Group are proud to announce that we received recognition within the South and West Wales Safety Group’s ‘Give 75' campaign on Wednesday 30th January, 2019 at the Liberty Stadium.
South and West Wales Safety Group have celebrated 75 years of safety excellence in which they have developed the Give 75 Campaign, where they requested members and supporters of the group to provide seventy five ‘units of something’ to improve safety, health and wellbeing in the community and workplace back in 2018.
Suggestions for the 75 things included:
– 75 minutes of your time to give information and guidance to a small organisation which does not have your expertise
– 75 minutes or hours of training
– 75 people trained in the community
– 75 lines of public endorsement e.g. in your in-house magazine
– 75 seconds of air time e.g. on local TV or radio stations
Pupils and teachers of Coedffranc primary school were treated to a health & safety activity presented by Ben Jenkins (Business Development & Marketing Coordinator) whilst obtaining 75 high-visibility vests, which were to be utilised by the school for all future community activities.
Pupils of the primary school were set the task of completing a health & safety poster, with E.G. Lewis Group offering one lucky winner the chance to visit Swansea City’s Fairwood training facility to meet the senior players and receive a signed shirt as part of the competition. Year 3 pupil - Hobie was selected as the eventual winner with his fantastic health & safety awareness poster design.
E.G. Lewis Group were delighted to visit Swansea City’s Fairwood training facility on Friday 5th October, 2018 with Hobie being presented with a signed home Swansea City shirt by Bersant Celina and the rest of the first team playing squad.
