E.G. Lewis Group were proud to attend School of Hard Knocks employability programme to conduct mock interviews on Tuesday 27th November (female group) and Thursday 29th November (male group) at Pontypridd RFC.
School of Hard Knocks began with delivery to unemployed adults, and it remains the core of their work today. They are passionate about achieving our mission of empowering people to fully realise their potential and deliver life-changing eight-week programmes to adults in challenging circumstances.
All of their courses use lessons out on the pitch or in the gym, alongside classroom-based activities. SoHK main beneficiaries are unemployed adults, in which they deliver life and employability skills such as goal-setting, anger and fear management, CV-writing and interview preparation. This structure comes together with the ultimate aim of enabling participants to find employment and realise their potential.
Liam Mackay, Adult course facilitator of School Of Hard Knocks Cymru had this to say about E.G. Lewis Group’s involvement:
“School of hard knocks have appreciated the support from Ben and the team at E.G Lewis Group.
“They have passed on invaluable employability skills and knowledge to our participants, whilst we are excited to grow the partnership with the company through to our Neath Port Talbot programme in the new year”.
