E.G. LEWIS GROUP ATTEND WALES NUCLEAR FORUM AND HORIZON NUCLEAR POWER EVENT

E.G. Lewis Group were proud to attend the Wales Nuclear Forum and Horizon Power event in Holywell, North Wales on Thursday 15th November.

Speakers included delegates from Horizon Nuclear Power, Welsh Government, VINCI, the Wales Nuclear Forum and the eCITB in which give potential suppliers and contractors to the Wylfa Newydd Project the chance to learn about the hundreds of opportunities available for local and national businesses.

E.G. Lewis Group were proud to showcase the businesses services to attendees whilst learning more about the opportunities that will be created by the project to build a new nuclear power station on Anglesey.  The event was tailored for organisations that specialise in providing goods and services to the major engineering, procurement and construction aspects of the project.

Steve Jenkins, Operations Manager for E.G. Lewis Group had this to say about the event in conjunction with WNF & Horizon Nuclear Power:

“I was delighted to present the Wales Nuclear Forum & Horizon Nuclear Power at the event in Holywell, North Wales.’’

“There were more than 130 attendees at the event which is aimed at members who want to work in the nuclear industry.’’

“We presented to the audience on ‘Integrated Maintenance Solutions’, that I strongly believe our companies can provide through Spectra Asset Integrity Management, Skelton Thomas Engineering and E.G. Lewis & Co.’’

“Collaboration with companies is key to working with the nuclear industry and ‘showcasing’ our capabilities at these network events is a necessity to gaining work in this prestigious industry.’’

Steve added:  “There was a great deal of interest in what services we can provide and I was personally delighted with the reaction we received following our presentation.

“It is vital that we, as a business, seek opportunities outside of our traditional markets, to ensure the long-term sustainability of our business.’’
