E.G. LEWIS GROUP ATTEND BITC - MENTAL HEALTH AT WORK EVENT

E.G. Lewis Group were delighted to attend Business in the Community’s Mental Health at Work event on Tuesday 9^th October, 2018 at PwC, Cardiff.

The networking event shared the findings of Business in the Community’s third national YouGov employee Mental Health at Work report taking a special look at the findings for Wales, whilst receiving snapshot presentations from Sandra Morse-Weaver (Occupational Health Manager) at Wales & West Utilities and Simon Jones (Head of Policy) at Mind Cymru.

Did you know that three out of five employees (61%) have experienced mental health issues due to work or where work was a related factor. Whilst one in three of the UK workforce have been formally diagnosed with a mental health condition at some point in their lifetime, most commonly depression or general anxiety.

Break the culture of silence that surrounds mental health and talk to your employer.
