HOBIE VISITS FAIRWOOD - SWANSEA CITY

E.G. Lewis Group were delighted to visit Swansea City’s Fairwood training facility on Friday 5th October, 2018 with Coeddfranc Primary School poster competition winner Hobie of Year 3.
Hobie was presented with a signed home Swansea City shirt by Bersant Celina and the rest of the first team playing squad, having been selected as the company’s health & safety poster competition winner which was part of the South West Wales Safety Group’s ‘Give 75’ campaign.
Pupils and teachers of the primary school were treated to a health & safety activity presented by Ben Jenkins (Business Development & Marketing Coordinator) on Tuesday 18th September, 2018 whilst obtaining 75 high-visibility vests, which are to be utilised by the school for all future community activities.
South and West Wales Safety Group are celebrating 75 years of safety excellence in which they have developed the Give75 Campaign, where they request members and supporters of the group to provide seventy five ‘units of something’ to improve safety, health and wellbeing in the community and workplace.
Suggestions for the 75 things included:
– 75 minutes of your time to give information and guidance to a small organisation which does not have your expertise
– 75 minutes or hours of training
– 75 people trained in the community
– 75 lines of public endorsement e.g. in your in-house magazine
– 75 seconds of air time e.g. on local TV or radio station
Craig Astley, Teacher at Coedffranc Primary School had this to say about the visit to Fairwood:
“We were thrilled to be invited to Swansea City’s training ground as part of E.G. Lewis Group’s visit to the School.
“Myself, on behalf of Coedffranc Primary School would like to thank Ben for arranging such an enjoyable and worthwhile experience for Hobie.
Rachel, Hobie’s mum added “I would like to say a very big thank you to Ben from E.G. Lewis Group for organising the visit, Hobie had the best morning ever and so did I.
“I will never forget the look on Hobie’s face at meeting all the players at Swansea City.
