E.G.LEWIS GROUP SUPPORT RICHARD BURTON 10K

The iconic Tata Steel Richard Burton 10k road race and family fun run is set to be one of the biggest races in its 38 year history on Sunday 3rd November.

The Richard Burton 10K is one of the oldest road races on the Welsh running calendar. The race epitomises the spirit and beauty of our famous Welsh valleys, with the heritage of the legend that is Richard Burton.

With more than 2000 runners expected between the main race and the Kevin Webber Mini Miler Fun Run, it will certainly be a busy Sunday in Cwmafan. There will also be some familiar faces amongst the runners, Member of Parliament (MP) for Aberavon – Stephen Kinnick, who is set to participate. 

As always a large proportion of race proceeds will be donated to charitable organisations, with a focus on those groups and clubs in close proximity to Cwmafan and those working with and encouraging children and young people to get active.

South Wales based specialist industrial contractor, E.G.Lewis Group, were proud to offer its support to the race by supplying Richard Burton printed stickers for participants to receive within their race goodie bag.
